Public Events

The Markley Arboretum will open to the public annually to celebrate Arbor Day, giving people the opportunity to participate in guided walking tours around the entry area, evergreen hills, and wetland conservation area. 

As a private data center campus, the Markley Arboretum serves as a model for integrating environmental stewardship with critical infrastructure. The plan promotes long-term sustainability, enhancement of urban tree canopy within the Concord River Watershed, and ongoing appreciation of trees and biodiversity by employees, visitors, and the community.

Governance Committee

The Markley Arboretum is governed by the Markley Group Landscape and Stewardship Committee, a standing management body established to provide long-term oversight of the arboretum and ensure continuity beyond the efforts of any single individual. The committee is empowered by Markley Group to establish policies, allocate resources, and direct stewardship activities necessary to fulfill the arboretum's mission and objectives.
