Markley Group to Host BostonCIO Leadership Association Meeting

By Timothy Sherbak | May 9, 2019

Markley Group has long been a proud supporter of the Boston CIO Leadership Association (BostonCIO). BostonCIO is the preeminent professional association for New England chief information officers, and one of 12 chapters in the InspireCIO Leadership Network. The national association offers an important opportunity for CIOs of public and private companies across government, education, healthcare, nonprofits and more to build strong, professional CIO communities and foster meaningful relationships.

On Thursday, May 16th, Markley will host BostonCIO’s next meeting at our One Summer Street facility to collaborate and exchange ideas; learn from peers; share best practices and experiences; recognize technology leadership excellence and more.

During the event, Markley’s own CTO, Steve Litster, will join Bill Mayo, the CIO of The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, for a session on hybrid cloud, “Are you leveraging hybrid cloud architecture to solve complex, mission-critical problems?” The two will discuss blending on-premise, colocation, and cloud infrastructure to optimize performance and cost. The meeting also includes a tour of our data center facility which will include a discussion of the strategic factors to consider when making a colocation decision.

Attendance is limited to members of the BostonCIO association. To join BostonCIO, visit: https://inspirecio.com/join/boston/inspire
