Earlier this month, the Boston CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards, in partnership with the Boston Business Journal, took place at the Westin Boston Waterfront and Markley was honored to once again be a part of the festivities. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Boston CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is one of the top technology executive recognition programs in New England, and Markley has been a proud underwriter of the program for the past few years.

This year’s award ceremony highlighted the untold stories of local CIOs and how they are shaping their industries and changing the world through technological innovation and strategic leadership. And, we are delighted that one of our customers was recognized at the event!

Our friend George Marootian, EVP, head of technology for US Distribution at Natixis Investment Managers was named a winner in the Global CIO of the Year category for his work surrounding the transformation of legacy applications into a modern automation solution in Amazon cloud (AWS). Through his work, Natixis Investment Managers achieved lower operating costs, reduced risk, improved time to delivery, improved resiliency and improved scalability.

With Markley’s longstanding effort to put customer service at the top of our priority list, we’re honored that our customers across verticals continue to be recognized by this program year after year.
