Thanksgiving Reflection: Top 3 Things Markley Group is Thankful for in 2015

By Jeff Flanagan | November 23, 2015

2015 has been a momentous year for Markley Group – we added new customers, expanded our cloud offerings and opened Phase One of a highly-secure 350,000 square foot facility in Lowell, Mass., which has already proven to be a successful addition to our world-class, mission-critical facility at One Summer Street. In that light, and with Thanksgiving only a few days away, we wanted to share a few of the things we are most thankful for this year.

Our Customers.

Markley Group’s customers are the reason our team gets up and comes to work every day. They are the cornerstone for Markley Group’s ongoing commitment to deliver the most innovative and technologically-advanced data center, colocation and cloud offerings available. And since the company was first founded, we have been dedicated to maintaining a customer-centric culture and business model, as well as delivering unparalleled services as New England’s leading telecommunications, cloud and data center operator. We are thankful for all of our customers – new and tenured – and work every day to maintain the high standards they have come to recognize and expect.

Our Team.

Our team is one of the main pillars of Markley Group’s excellence – from our data security and cloud experts to our maintenance staff who is available 24/7/365, ensuring we can continue to offer uninterrupted, reliable power and service to each of our more than 250 customers. Without our dedicated staff, the 920,000 square feet of highly-secured white and mechanical space at our One Summer Street facility, and the growing facility in Lowell, would not operate as seamlessly as they do – and that’s something to be grateful for.

Our Milestones.

2015 has marked one of the biggest expansion years for Markley Group, particularly with the closing of a strategic financing package and the purchase of our new Lowell facility, which allows clients to take advantage of three diverse dark fiber routes to One Summer Street for full carrier access, access to 1,000 disaster recovery hot seats and more. As a culmination of those efforts, we are pleased that customers have already started occupying space in Lowell. November also marks the four year anniversary of Markley Cloud Services (MCS), a division of Markley Group that delivers on-demand computing and storage resources, which are critical in many of our customers’ data strategies and an important piece in ensuring we deliver the best, most-advanced services on the market.

For all of these reasons, we are thrilled to raise a celebratory glass this Thanksgiving, and wish our clients, partners and team members a wonderful start to a happy and healthy holiday season.
